I have just completed 2 1/2 years research and study at Massey University (NZ) completing a PgDip of Education in E-Learning with Distinction and transferring to the College of Business completing a PgDip in Business with Distinction. I am moving back to Dubai and looking forward to utilising experience, research and skills to work as a Learning and Development Specialist. I have 15 years experience teaching Mathematics and Geography in Secondary Schools in five different countries. I continue to develop my speaking and presenting skills, both face-to-face and online, to better deliver concepts and ideas. I am excited about the ways that technology is advancing and changing the way that we live and learn. I believe that it is important to curate expertise and real application from the web and integrate this into learning design that is accessible and usable in a ‘classroom’, as well as, in a virtually mobile learning community. If this is done successfully then people get entrapped in a web of learning that is interest driven.
